Volunteering during your MPH

One of the main focuses of the MPH program at UW-Madison is community engagement, and there is no better way to engage yourself in the community than through volunteer-work. Volunteering allows MPH students to reach out to under-served populations of the Madison area in various fields of interest. They also allow you to observe many of the inequities that will be covered in your coursework.

MPHSO will be hosting one volunteering event per semester for the entire MPH class to participate in - usually near the end of the semester. Stay tuned for more information about this semester's volunteering event!

If you would like to get involved in the Madison area while completing your MPH, below is a list of common volunteer opportunities in the area.
